Another help is coming to the farmers - on July 14, the call to support the development of livestock farms will be reopened.

The Ministry of Agriculture is re-opening the call for tenders entitled "Support for the development of livestock farms", announced István Nagy, head of the ministry. The reopening is justified by the huge success of the call for tenders in the fall of 2020, so it will once again be possible for livestock keepers to implement larger-scale investments. It will be possible to submit support applications again from July 14, 2021.

Poultry breeders, pig breeders, cattle breeders, sheep breeders, goat breeders, horse breeders, rabbit breeders, beekeepers and many other livestock keepers who deal with farm animals will once again have the opportunity to establish a new animal farm with support, to modernize an existing one, or to acquire equipment and machinery related to animal husbandry.

The head of the department drew attention to the fact that those who have already received support in connection with a different place of implementation can receive support again. The Minister of Agriculture emphasized that the invitation is still available under the already familiar set of conditions. As a general rule, the aid intensity is 50%, and the conditions regarding the amount of the aid remain unchanged: the minimum amount of the non-refundable aid that can be applied for varies between HUF 5 and 100 million depending on the target area, with a maximum of HUF 2 billion.
