The government has allowed the vaccination of 12-15-year-olds to begin. This was announced by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Thursday's Government Information. Accordingly, starting today, this age group can also be registered for vaccination on the vaccinainfo.gov.hu website.
The parent has the right to complete the registration, for which the child's name, age, social security number, address and the parent's contact information must be provided . If the data is accurate and complete, the registration will be validated within a few days.
Vaccination of children under the age of 15 is currently only possible with the Pfizer vaccine, Pfizer vaccines can be booked continuously at hospital vaccination points. Parents should bring the parental consent form to the vaccination date. Vaccination is of course voluntary, and the parent has the right to decide about it. In case of questions, we recommend that the parent also ask for the opinion of the family doctor, family pediatrician or the child's treating doctor.
Parents are reminded that children under the age of 12 cannot be vaccinated and their registration will not be accepted.
