In the past few days, Origo has published an article by the international news agency AV4NA , according to which CNN has again published manipulative and false coverage of Hungary.

Charlie Chester, one of CNN's senior contributors, talked about how Donald Trump was brought down by propagandistic means. “Look what we did, we [CNN] exposed Trump. I say with complete conviction and I believe 100 percent that if it wasn't for CNN, I don't know that Trump would have been voted out."

Now CNN (and the BBC) reported on Budapest with similar goals, on the demonstration against Fudan University , which was organized by the left wing led by Ferenc Gyurcsány. None of the propaganda televisions were bothered by the fact that Ferenc Gyurcsány begged to install a university campus in Hungary in 2007. To this end , everything was thrown in, he even sent his wife to bring a gift of 150,000 US dollars worth of medical monitors and equipment to Fudan University. According to Gyurcsány, this was necessary because, as he told journalists: You cannot have good economic relations with China without good political relations.

By the way, Ferenc Gyurcsány called his first impressions of Shanghai "electrifying" and "intoxicating" when he met the first people of the giant city in eastern China with 20 million inhabitants, including commuters.

CNN and BBC were not interested in the facts, not even the fact that Gergely Karácsony was Gyurcsány's political advisor at the time.

V4NA sent questions to the management of CNN and BBC, whether they were aware of these when they reported on Budapest. The news agency also asked whether they knew how many socialist ministers visited China during the Gyurcsánys' administration. To help, V4NA collected the number of times members of the Medgyessy and Gyurcsány governments visited China between 2004 and 2008, based on index.hu's coverage in 2008.

Ministers in China:

Ferenc Gyurcsány, János Veres, János Kóka, Kálmán Kovács and István Hiller paid their respects twice in China, while the others – Ferenc Somogyi, Kinga Göncz, Mónika Lamperth, István Csillag, József Petrétei, József Gráf, Ferenc Juhász, Imre Szekeres, András Bozóki, Mihály Kökény, István Kolber - they visited there with a group.
