On June 23, all Serbian-Hungarian border crossings closed due to the coronavirus epidemic will reopen and will operate as usual.

All border crossings between Serbia and Hungary will open next Wednesday, István Pásztor, the president of the Vojvodina Hungarian Association, announced on social media.

According to the Hungarian politician from Vojvodina, on June 23, all of the Serbian-Hungarian border crossings that were closed due to the coronavirus epidemic will reopen and will operate as usual.

István Pásztor announced a week ago that in addition to the Horgos-Röszke and Kelebia-Tompa crossings, which were open during the epidemic, the Bajmok-Bácsalmás, Királyhalom-Ásotthalom and Gyála-Tiszasziget crossings will also open from June 15. Starting next week, the Horgos-Röszke road crossing, as well as the Rábé-Kübekháza and Haraszti-Bácsszentgyörgy crossings will also be usable.

As of Friday, the number of registered coronavirus patients in Serbia increased by 135 to 715,442, in Kosovo by ten to 107,147, in North Macedonia also by ten to 155,594, in Montenegro by 19 to 100,020, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina by 61 to 204 increased to 408.

In the last 24 hours, the number of deaths from the epidemic rose by five to 6,985 in Serbia, by one to 1,610 in Montenegro, and by six to 9,387 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There were no deaths from the disease in Kosovo and North Macedonia, so the number of dead remained at 2,254 and 5,472, respectively.
