Gergely Karácsony, using the power of emergency, as one of his last individual decisions banished the statue of King Saint István to Kispest , which, according to the original ideas, would have been erected in the park named after the founder of the state.
Logical, right? I note that it is difficult to decide whether he honored or punished the left-wing mayor Péter Gajda.

After all, it would be really surprising if, according to the current city administration, a bronze statue depicting St. István would have its place in the Szent István park. Especially since the previous Capital Assembly already decided in 2017 on the placement of the statue, and also on the demolition of the statue of communist politician György Lukács, People's Commissar of the Soviet Republic, which had been sitting there until then. But we'll come back to that later.

In the fall of 2019, with the permission of the Tarlós-branded Metropolitan Assembly, work on the placement of the artwork created by István Harmath began, however, the newly elected left-liberal majority Assembly suspended this as one of its first decisions.

Christmas then lied like this:

"The debate is not about whether there will be a statue of St. István in Szent István park, but about how we can reconcile the aspects of memory policy and those formulated by park users."

The "civilians" again! Because it is said that these civil organizations were afraid of the grassy area. Never mind, the negotiations have begun, and the Budapest Gallery has also prepared a new expert opinion - therefore you should not fall for it when "they" are looking for a compromise - in which it proposed a new location within the park.

"In the area called the clock plot, the statue of Saint István would not disturb the other works of art, nor would it take away from the grassy area"

Budapest Galéria pointed out in its resolution at the time.

However, whether or not, the September 2020 proposal has already marked a new location, which is famous for its white dust, located in the left-wing Kispest led by Péter Gajda. Speaking of which, do we remember these videos? Why is someone stupid who doesn't earn a hundred million a year as a municipal representative, how does the XIX. district corruption machine, and why is it difficult to communicate with Gyurcsány in the afternoons? Of course, Csaba Lackner with a powdered sugar nose was not talking about all of this, but a man whose appearance closely matches the appearance of Lackner, who is still acting as a representative to this day.

In one word, the statue of Saint István was banished from the park named after him, to Kispes, where it is hoped that it will not suffer the same fate as the bust erected there, which is neglected by the city administration according to its order and manner.

Returning to György Lukács: it is worth noting that the statue of the murderer – and philosopher – who shot his own soldiers was removed from the park in the spring of 2017 and temporarily moved to the garden of the creator, Imre Varga. At the time, the incident caused great indignation among left-liberal intellectuals: led by Gábor Demszky and the late Ágnes Heller, a couple demonstrated for the statue.

And the piquancy of the demolition is not only that it was carried out following the proposal of Jobbik, which has now become part of the opposition, but also that the "civilians" concerned about the green area did not express their joy after the demolition because the city administration handed over the site of the statue to nature, and even , even the hyper-green Christmas wasn't grateful for a foot of land. Not at all. However, this was raised as an excuse in connection with the Saint Stephen statue, right?

Of course, we know the noise, the occupation of the good communist can be at the expense of the green area, but our ideologically refined opposition does not hesitate to demonstrate even with a red flag against the bad communist - nowadays this would be the Chinese Fudan University.

Ultimately, it is only one step from here to restore the statue of György Lukács to its original location, and then to rename the park. It could be, say, the memorial park of the Murderous Villains . For Christmas, if nothing else, the rewriting of street names goes well, so even in the momentum of the primary election, Szent István park could be renamed, making it coherent with the memento to be placed there. I note that Jakab's presence as master of ceremonies would be essential at the inauguration of the old-new statue. If you're already a goose...
