Momentum's prime ministerial candidate went on a European campaign tour, if not worldwide, to reassure his Western ally and friends: after the fall of Viktor Orbán in 2022, Hungary will return to the Western path, will return to the Western federal system.

on Facebook that he will start a European tour on Monday morning, visiting eight countries in eight days: France is the first stop, and from there the schedule will be Belgium, Holland, Germany, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain and finally Austria.

The Momentum leader has two main goals for this tour. On the one hand, it is that

"Let me assure our Western allies and friends: after the fall of Viktor Orbán in 2022, Hungary will return to the Western path, it will return to the Western federal system. As long as the Hungarian Prime Minister is called Viktor Orbán, the Hungarian government operates as a Trojan horse for Eastern dictatorships in Europe. We will put an end to this and set Hungary in a western direction - because instead of secession from the east, Hungarians want western wages, western life and western freedom."

The second goal, which he considers even more important than the first, is that

"We will also involve the Hungarians who migrated to the West and were let down by the Orbán regime in shaping the future of Hungary after 2022. I will meet Hungarians living abroad in almost every country. I also bring them a clear message: we welcome them home to a new Hungary, as we need them very much in order to build a rich, prosperous and peaceful Hungary. What's more, in the autumn primaries - with the well-fought online voting - they can have a say much earlier on where Hungary will go after the change of government."
