Jobbik is running the Jew-bashing László Bíró in the local primary election in electoral district 6 of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, in the Szerencs area, reports hvg.hu. If we take into account the vehemence with which Jobbik stood behind Gyurcsány's candidates every time, we can be sure that the entire left-wing coalition will support the anti-Semitic politician.

"Lice slides", "Jewish usury-bank capital"; "Judapest" - the hope of the left in Borsod was clearly not stingy with epithets when it wanted to slander the Jews. Despite Bíró's outright anti-Semitic expressions (with one or two exceptions), the left-wing opinion makers remained silent or tried to copy the case in the 2020 midterm elections, when Bíró was also the joint candidate of the opposition.

His nomination subsequently caused great tension, after the representative's exclusionary and anti-Semitic comments were made public, for which he later apologized. So everyone on the left calmed down, so it was all right.

Bíró also came under fire because of a suspicious state subsidy, which was received by the sewing shop he operated. Deceived employees also spoke to the media, and even Ákos Hadházy himself came across enormous abuses during the investigation of Bíró's economic transactions, but nothing came of it either. Hadházy reported the suspected crime to the left-wing party leaders, which they later unanimously denied. Then this storm also calmed down. (The prosecutor's office did not intervene in the case either)

In last year's by-election, Bíró finally lost to the Fidesz candidate, Zsófia Koncz. That election was given particular importance by the fact that the survival of two-thirds depended on it.
