Hadházy: Jobbik has reached the limit of madness

I don't deny that I was surprised and depressed that Jobbik wants to run the same person in the election again, who put the opposition in a very unpleasant situation in the mid-term elections in Borsod by abusing EU subsidies and racist posts. Apologizing for the racist remarks was a very nice gesture. But the opposition promises a Hungary in perfectly executed campaign posts where things will have consequences, and this will only be credible if it sets an example on its own.

Many of us are outraged by the cases when Fidesz re-launched its biggest fraudsters and most unacceptable people in the election without batting an eye. István Horváth the traffic distributor, Flórián Farkas who stole Roma money, Simonka or Borkai - they all started again after they failed, and of course they won. From Fidesz's point of view, even this impudence is understandable in the short term: on the one hand, it shows strength outwardly ("we can do this too"), and on the other hand, it sends a message inwardly that if you are loyal and loyally shut up, we will protect you.

But the opposition party that sees this as a model will be very disappointed - it only works for Fidesz because it has a huge propaganda machine in its hands. The perpetrators mentioned above were only able to escape because of this.

Of course, they also had potatoes, with which we could explain the defeat to our own people, but it was still a defeat. And let's be sure: Fidesz will still have its potatoes in 2022.

If someone from the party's presidency accuses me of weakening the UNION with the above lines, I would like to say to them: I think that those who do not notice or do not want to notice the above weaken the chances of a cooperative opposition. Moreover, the primary election is about having these debates.''
