A connected series of events will be organized in Csíksereda in the coming days. The Székely Folk Costume Day is held on Friday, the Day of the Thousand Székely Girls is held on Saturday, and at the same time, the participants of the international pálinka competition are awarded at the pálinka fair.

Székelyhon reported on the press conference announcing the program series. As they write, András Mihály, the head of the Hargita National Székely Nép Együttes, said about Friday's Székely Folk Costume Day that on the tradition preservation day they started in 2017 and has held regularly since then, they ask all traditionalists from here and beyond the border to wear Székely clothing. With this gesture, we indicate that we belong to a community. Let's go to work, go shopping in this outfit, show that we are proud of our affiliation.

The Day of the Thousand Székely Maidens is held on Saturday in the saddle of Csíksomlyó, true to tradition, at the Hármashalom altar. This year too – for the third year in a row – the honorary host of the celebration will be the village of Csíkpálfalva through the settlement of Csíkdelne. At the event starting at 11 a.m., greetings and speeches will be given first, followed by the Holy Mass, which will be celebrated again by the parish priest and youth pastor of the settlement, Szabolcs Csíki. Due to the restrictions, the dance performances of the various regional groups will not be held on the spot, but the tradition of joint photography capturing those dressed in folk costumes will be kept, and some art-loving folk dance groups will also perform in the courtyard of the Csobotfalv parish from 3 p.m.

It will be possible to follow the events live on the Facebook page of the Hargita National Székely Népi Együttes, which is participating in the event.

The award ceremony and distillate tasting will take place from Thursday to Saturday, in the city's central park. On this occasion, the prize-giving ceremony of the Ákovita International Distilled and Pálinka Competition was held, where 223 entrants entered the competition with 1,082 samples of pálinka and distilled spirits from Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia and Israel.
