The national consultation forms will arrive in households in the coming days and weeks, and later it will be possible to fill them out online and send them back, the government spokesperson told the public media on Friday. Ildikó Panulin, the spokesperson of Magyar Posta Zrt., said on the current channel M1 that the delivery of parcels has already started in Budapest.

Alexandra Szentkirályi said: the current one will be the 11th national consultation. It is necessary so that the government - after learning the opinions of the people - will be able to make decisions based on "points of agreement" on economic, security and important issues affecting families, among others.

According to the government spokesperson, with the help of the consultation, "we will be able to take our destiny into our own hands" and, taking that into account, we can act on the basis of Hungarian interests.

He reminded us that in the past decade, many crises have shaped life in Hungary as well: such was the financial and economic crisis, the migration crisis "that lives with us to this day", and the coronavirus epidemic, the third wave of which was suppressed with vaccinations.

From these crises it can be concluded - he added - that the next years and decades will not be the same as the previous ones, it is not possible to return to the old ways. Therefore, he called it important to make Hungary economically viable, including strengthening families, more vulnerable social groups, and pensioners.

Alexandra Szentkirályi said: at the current national consultation, everyone's opinion is expected until August 25.

On Thursday, the government published the 14 questions of the latest national consultation on its Facebook page. The questions also concern the level of the minimum wage, family allowances, migration, the credit moratorium and taxes.

Ildikó Panulin, the spokesperson of Magyar Posta Zrt., announced on the current channel M1 that the parcels containing the national consultation sheets will be dropped into the mailboxes by the post office's delivery personnel.

The shipment also contains a response envelope, in which the completed questionnaires can be returned free of charge until August 15, he explained.

According to his information, the approximately 8 million letters will be delivered to households by the end of July. Delivery has already started in Budapest.
