The European Court of Human Rights ruled on Thursday morning in the case represented by the Hungarian Helsinki Committee that forced return to Serbia without any kind of procedure, identification or documentation, based on the Hungarian regulations that came into force five years ago, violates the prohibition of collective expulsion, the Mandiner reported on the ruling. .

As the Hungarian Helsinki Committee writes: according to its own statement, the Hungarian police carried out almost 72,000 forced returns - i.e. at least 72,000 illegal measures were taken."

Khurram Shahzad from Pakistan crossed the border illegally in August 2016 and then applied for asylum in English, but since the crisis situation caused by mass immigration was in force in Hungary from the spring of 2016, Shahzad's request was not registered. According to the regulations, if an arrival from a third country cannot prove himself, for example with a valid passport or visa, he will be deported back to Serbia.

This happened to Khurram Shahzad as well: the man, who the organization said cooperated in everything, was ordered back to Serbia, and later he was severely abused. The case was decided by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, after the Hungarian Helsinki Committee requested that the court declare that by automatically "forcing" people to Serbia without any procedure, Hungary violates the ban on collective expulsion.

Our commentary on the terse statement: The court that made the decision seems to be made up of dilettantes with no knowledge of the law, and the Hungarian Helsinki Committee once again represented an anti-Hungarian case, but we are already used to this. Since when is the return of unknown, unidentifiable individuals who illegally entered the territory of Hungary back to the place from which they infiltrated us? Since the beginning of the world, the protection of borders has been an inalienable right of every country - this right is spitting in the face of the court. There can be no doubt about the honesty of the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, there is no doubt that it is unfair to our country.
