The Waclaw Felczak Foundation announces an open tender for Hungarian secondary education institutions to organize and conduct class trips to Poland.

The purpose of the competition is to familiarize high school students between the ages of 14 and 19 with Polish culture, the idea of ​​Polish-Hungarian friendship , the historical relations between the two countries, and to expand their knowledge of Poland through the students' own personal experiences. Applications can be submitted by all secondary education institutions or their foundations with headquarters in Hungary. An educational institution or its foundation may request support for the travel of a maximum of one group at a time within the defined cost limit.

In the framework of the call for tenders, the travel of students from Hungarian educational institutions and their companions to Poland can be supported. During the evaluation of the tenders, preference will be given to those trips that are aimed at places related to Hungarian-Polish historical relations and visiting Hungarian and/or Polish landmarks. The duration of a class trip is at least 2 days (one night) but at most 7 days (six nights). The minimum number of students participating in an excursion is 10 (without chaperones). The number of chaperones may not exceed 20% of the number of participating students, except for students with special educational needs.

The support that can be applied for with the application is a 100% intensive, non-refundable one-time support, in the form of a 100% support advance. The amount of support that an applicant can apply for is a maximum of HUF 2,000,000. It is not necessary to have your own funds for the application.

You can only apply for the following costs:

travel costs;
cost of meals;
accommodation costs;
travel insurance for participants;
daily fee for accompanying persons/teachers (maximum 10% of the total amount that can be claimed);
expenditure related to a cultural program (e.g.: museum entrance ticket).

Application deadline: August 16, 2021, 12:00 p.m. After the submission deadline, it is not possible to make up any gaps related to the application. Applications can only be submitted online, via the dedicated interface of the Foundation's website.
