Andreas Unterberger, former editor-in-chief of Die Presse and Wiener Zeitung, currently the author of Austria's leading political blog, supported the Hungarian government's policy in a long post.

According to Unterberger , today Hungary has much more democracy than in other European states. He mentioned the national consultation as a positive example, which, according to him, raises the situation of Hungarian democracy well above the European average. In his letter, he praised the fact that the Hungarian government asks people's opinions outside of the elections.

The author touched on the words of Mark Rutte, the Dutch Prime Minister who constantly criticizes our country, who would exclude Hungary from the European Union. According to Unterberger, freedom is in danger in the Netherlands, where journalists, right-wing politicians, or film directors who do not sympathize with Islam are murdered in the open street.

Unterberger did not spare the Austrian political elite either, highlighting the drastic increase in migrant crime, the deterioration of public security and the fact that, after the Benelux states, Austria has the highest proportion of migrants staying there without justification in Europe.

Regarding the so-called "European values", for which our country is regularly under attack from the West, he wrote that they are merely part of political propaganda and are arbitrarily used to discredit their political opponents.

It is Viktor Orbán who represents Europeanness, supports families, asks people's opinions and helps persecuted Christians around the world.

According to the author, Hungarian press freedom is always tried to be discredited by the same Western newspapers, and he considers the organization Reporters Without Borders to be a radical left-wing association. There is more of a problem with press freedom in the West, as no less than 20 newspapers refused to publish the Hungarian government's seven-point European reform announcement.

The rejection of the ad cannot be justified not only for economic reasons, but also for moral reasons, because the fact that someone is constantly attacked and then not allowed to present the other party's point of view at least once contradicts the rules of correct information, to put it mildly.

The ad did not contain any hateful content, it merely presented the possibility of reforming the European Union. He took a stand in favor of economic cooperation and the inclusion of Serbia and rejected the idea of creating a European superstate.

Unterberger called it disgraceful that some Western politicians pretend that the Hungarian government is producing propaganda, since all European countries, and even more so the European Union, provide a lot of resources for self-promotion.

Western politicians and mainstream media have been demonizing the Hungarian Prime Minister for years, even though if they looked at the facts, they would see the exact opposite of what they say.
