One of the founders or former founders of the internet encyclopedia, Wikipedia, as Larry Sanger used to describe himself, believes that the vast store of knowledge is no longer a reliable source of information, as the mainstream left-wing elite has also appropriated it, reports Magyar Hírlap.

According to the American entrepreneur, the website, whose content is read by more than six billion visitors per month, now only allows one approach to the interpretation of certain questions. Founded in 2001, the encyclopedia started as an independent platform where it was possible to write about a range of topics in different approaches.

According to Sanger, especially in the last five years, it has become increasingly difficult to participate in writing new articles or editing existing ones. Such attempts are increasingly ending with a warning or expulsion if the author deviates from the line sanctioned by the liberal mainstream. This phenomenon has now deteriorated to such an extent that there is censorship not only on major political topics or on the websites of personalities, but also on almost insignificant topics...

…Sanger says when Wikipedia started, the Internet was full of independent opinions, and people trusted sites like Facebook and YouTube with their personal information. " We trusted them with our freedom and our data, we gave them the world of media, but they stabbed us in the back," opined the founder of the online encyclopedia. Sanger believes that the solution is to decentralize the Internet, which he believes will happen over time.
