The task of the generations living today is to take care of historical memories - declared Gergely Gulyás, the minister who heads the Prime Minister's Office, on Sunday in Nádasdladány, Fejér County, where the renovated Nádasdy Castle was handed over.

According to Origo's report Gergel Gulyás emphasized that the history of the Nádasdy family is extremely worthy of recognition, as they stood by the country even in the most difficult situations, including hiding IV. Bélat during the Tatar invasion. He believed that, after the renovation of their castle, it can be proudly said that they have created a place that truly commemorates the family.

According to the minister, the development restored the wealth in which noble families could live, and now the locals and the whole country can see this. He also spoke about how the castle, reminiscent of the United Kingdom, is a unique asset, which now awaits visitors with renewed spaces and a park. He indicated that the government still owes the Nádasdy family: to restore the Nádasdy castle in Sárvár to its original form.

Tamás Glázer, the managing director of the National Heritage Protection Development Nonprofit Kft., said that the first phase of the revitalization of the 29-hectare castle garden was realized, which directly affected the renewed lake and the promenade around it. In the 2,000-square-meter castle building, the reconstruction of the ground floor has been completed, the mushroom removal tasks have been completed, and a modern museum shop, screening room, café and museum pedagogy have been established. In addition to these, operational and service areas were created in the basement and on the first floor.

He pointed out: the paintings depicting family members, which were originally made in the Hall of the Ancestors, have been returned.

Zsolt Virág , the ministerial commissioner responsible for the implementation of the National Castle Program and the National Castle Program of the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the building, which suffered a very tumultuous fate after nationalization, was renovated after 38 years. Within the framework of the program, values were not only preserved with lasting solutions, but special attention was also paid to mental rehabilitation, he added.

Count Borbála Nádasdy, representing the historical family , stated that "the state took it, but the nation got the castle back".
