Gergely Karácsony spoke about failed epidemic treatment to left-wing economist Zoltán Pogátsa in the latest broadcast 99 Podcast

- The fact that the health care system was unable to cope with such a situation, and the incredible burden this placed on the social care system, showed the weak points of this system with amazing force. It can be proven that we are after an unsuccessful epidemic and crisis management - asserted the left-wing Prime Minister candidate.

It is not the first time that the mayor tries to create panic and uncertainty among his supporters, a month ago he once again targeted Eastern vaccines in his campaign.

- Many thousands of elderly people are worried about whether the Chinese vaccine provides them with real protection, now the government cannot cowardly hide behind the skirts of pharmaceutical manufacturers. The government must take responsibility for action and take action as soon as possible so that those who were not protected by the Chinese vaccination can receive a truly effective vaccine, said Gergely Karácsony.

Our previous article pointed out that it is no coincidence that the Párbeszéd politician timed the free antigen screening in the capital to coincide with the lifting of restrictions due to the coronavirus epidemic, in order to cause panic among people vaccinated with Eastern vaccines, especially the elderly, with the scientifically questionable but easily communicated results.

In the call, people over the age of sixty who have been vaccinated with Sinopharm were targeted, because there are indeed cases where the body does not have antibodies that can be measured with simple tests after the second vaccination. Béla Merkely, rector of Semmelweis University, on the other hand, stated clearly: the antibody level cannot be measured precisely.

It is interesting that, in the same podcast, the aspirant for prime minister of the left praised Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's economic model, criticizing his own expert camp.

- In the past - roughly until 2019 or the onset of the epidemic - there was an economic growth. The Hungarian opposition took less seriously the fact that there was a serious real wage increase, so the functionality of this model has been proven by many things from a certain point of view - said Gergely Karácsony literally, while before his election as mayor, his dwarf party, the Párbeszéd, described the "failure" of these wage increases. he voiced during his campaigns.

"The past few years have not been favorable for those living on wages and salaries. [...] The standard of living did not approach, but moved away from the EU average, everyday experience shows that it is not possible to make a living from decent work. A job that provides a decent living for those who are unemployed or who do public work in exchange for benefits is even further from reality," they wrote on the party's website back in 2014.
