The World Federation of Equestrian Archery is celebrating the World Equestrian Archery Day on August 7th with a special event, as a unique initiative in the world so far. Its location is the Kassai Valley, and its host is Lajos Kassai, the creator of modern horse archery.

The event is the central event of the World Archery Day, and it also tries to bring Hungarian bow traditionalists and their communities closer together. The participants, showing a high professional standard, can demonstrate alongside their activities, presenting our historical and cultural roots, drawing attention to the importance of nurturing them. Of course, the occasion also gives outsiders the opportunity to gain as much insight into our activities as possible through a well-organized event with a familiar atmosphere.

The location of the event is the Kassai Valley, the cradle of modern horse archery, and at the same time the best equipped horse archery training center in the world. The training and operating method of the Kassai Archery School is unique in the world, so it is part of the "Hungarian cultural heritage" and has been awarded the title "Hungarikum". In connection with the event, interested parties are provided with the opportunity not only to see our archery training methods, but also for those with a bow to try some of them.

As a climax , they symbolized the importance of togetherness with a large joint shower of arrows. Of course, we also offer a lot of colorful additional programs that match the theme, which not only archers can enjoy. And those who feel like it and have the right looks and shooting skills can register as participants in the "Arrow Shower in the Kassai Valley" ! You can find out about the conditions of participation there.
