The drót.info portal reviewed how left-liberal politicians in the capital previously benefited from the funds intended for civilians from the Norwegian Fund.

After seven years, the debates surrounding the Norwegian Fund have been renewed, the stake is no less than HUF 77 billion owed to the Hungarian people. This money would be used because the Norwegians have access to the Hungarian markets, but the two states have to make a separate agreement on the disbursement. The Norwegian side blocks the agreement on the grounds that they insist on the "independent" operator, Ökotárs, which has been distributing the billions of the civil fund until now. Drót.info worked for several weeks to explore the political relationship system of the pseudo-civilians, and in a series of articles presents the operation and party affiliations of Ökotárs .

By reviewing the career of an old confidant of Gergely Karácsony, Szilvia Temesvár, the web newspaper ridicules the Norwegians' insistence on Ökotárs as an independent organizer.

Findings:

Acting as the left-wing deputy mayor of Terézváros since the fall of 2019, at which points in his life in Timisoara did he connect with the "independent", "civilian" Ökotárs and Karácsony.

– In 2010, Temesvári was still an LMP candidate in the municipal election, Budapest VI. in the district

as a HUMUSZ organizer in October 2010 , even though in 2009-2010 you had to register with him .

- In the meantime, to make the circle complete, the Norwegian Civil Waste Association (HUMUSZ) has received substantial support.

- It is interesting that the first Norwegian Civil Support Fund cycle took place between 2008 and 2011.

- In the course of a single year, Temesvári appeared in politics, appeared in the distribution of funds, and appeared in an organization that received support. Obviously, this is how the Norwegian side imagines independence and freedom from politics.

– Then in 2013, like Christmas in Timisoara, he already sought the favor of Bajnai, as was documented by . With Márton Gulyás, among others, and indirectly with Soros money, he organized a liberal summer university near Együtt-PM at Lake Velence. One of the guests was the author of the report condemning Hungary, Rui Tavares.

"That's not all!" On November 11, 2014, Gergely Karácsony handed over/sold his family company (Social Report Company, HUF 21.5 million state commission between 2006-10) to Szilvia Temesvár, but the external member Virág Kiss, Karácsony's wife, remained. This member status remained until the end of 2018, when the family company was terminated.

– At the same time, nearing the end of 2014, Karácsony also appointed Temesvári as the mayor's secretary as Zugló city manager.

– So the secretarial employee became the head of the Karácsony family business.

- Several emails and job advertisements prove that Szilvia Temesvári was also Karácsony's colleague in Zugló in 2015-16. At the same time, however, he also indicated on his social media page that in January 2016 he finished his work as director of the Budapest Greenways organization. We looked into what this could be, and we came to the conclusion that it could presumably be the same as the project called Budapest Green Ways, which is operated by the Via Viridis Association, and which received 14,620 euros (more than four million forints) between the first of March 2015 and the end of April 2016. From the Norwegian Fund: https://norvegcivilalap.hu/en/tamogatott/10927 . names Szilvia from Timisoara as one of the organizers of a 2015 program

- As a summary: Karácsony's direct colleague, and also his wife's business partner, appeared as a director of an association that received millions of Norwegian Fund funds, already after the 2014 summer-autumn disputes regarding the Fund's independence.

So it can be seen that one of the former key people of the Ökotárs Foundation, which lied about being independent, has not been out of politics in the last ten years. He was a LMP candidate, then appeared at the Párbeszéd party foundation as a curator, but most importantly: the now left-liberal prime minister candidate, Karácsony's confidant who worked as an advisor to the Gyurcsánys before 2010, as an opposition member of parliament between 2010-14, and as mayor of Zugló between 2014-2019, was his secretary's manager and his wife's business partner. The same person, Szilvia Temesvári, previously appeared as the program coordinator of the Norwegian Fund, and later also among its indirect beneficiaries. After that, he immediately became a politician, although as an employee he had already done work that seemed to be of a strongly political nature.

Drót.info promises that in the future it will come forward with further hard evidence about how left-liberal politicians in the capital previously benefited from Norwegian Fund resources intended for civilians.
