According to American radio presenter and writer Dennis Prager, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was right when he did not let in countless people from the Middle East.

Viktor Orbán decided to close the borders not because he hates the Middle Easterners, but because when people bring a different culture into a country, it has an effect on the country's own culture, said the writer who came to Hungary for the Mathias Corvinus Collegium festival.

In Kossuth radio's Sunday Newspaper program, Dennis Prager stated: Currently, the belief that Western civilization can be saved is stronger in Hungary than in Germany or the United States. "America and Western Europe are no longer the pillar of the West, if I'm looking for salvation, I look to the East".

Regarding the fact that Hungary is called homophobic, he believed that there is no conservative in the world whom the left would not call homophobic or racist. The left does not argue, but "names people" with the aim of ostracizing and condemning, he said.

In his opinion, there would be no need for any sexual information in elementary schools, because the task of adults is to keep children innocent.

He also talked about the fact that this is the fifth time he has visited Hungary, and that the Hungarians seemed to him to be the most cheerful of his visits so far. People were friendly, which is usually a measure of happiness.

In the context of the political situation in the United States, he said that if the Republicans gain a majority in the 2022 congressional elections, it could be the beginning of turning things around.

Dennis Prager sees the United States as more divided now than it was during the Civil War. There is a right-wing America and a left-wing America, and they have nothing in common. According to him , he sometimes wonders whether Hungary is currently freer than the United States.

On Hír TV, Prager also expressed the opinion that a civil war is already underway in the USA, but not violently yet.
