Around 800 masters are waiting for visitors with visual workshops on August 20-22. between, in the Buda Castle Quarter at the 35th Festival of Crafts. The colors of the craft community of the Carpathian Basin will be represented again this year from August 20, for three days at the Festival of Crafts in the historical surroundings of the Buda Castle. The aim of the artisans and traditionalists is to present traditional Hungarian trades to the visitors in an experiential, visual workshop.

This year, hunting and fishing will be the main theme , so the related activities will be in focus. This year, visitors can get to know the occupations grouped around hunting and fishing, such as the knife, leather, horn and bone carving professions, but they can also get a glimpse of the masterstrokes of fishing net making. Exhibitors line up from Kapistrán Square to Mátyás Temple. Another novelty is that this year the festival will be free to visit for the first time , thereby supporting families who come to the event with children.

In addition to nearly a thousand Hungarian masters, the festival has been hosting foreign craftsmen for years. This year, participants from Turkic-speaking countries will come to the festival: recognized masters from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan will come and show their skills and values. Thanks to the Korean Cultural Center, artisans from South Korea will also be coming, who will introduce the public to the techniques of paper weaving, building painting and quilting.
