From next Friday to Sunday, the first official competition in the history of the largest world darts organization (PDC) will take place in Hungary, where the biggest stars of the sport will also perform.

"The plan was born fifteen or twenty years ago, but it only became a reality two or three years ago. This competition was supposed to take place last year, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. We hope that we are on the threshold of a historic sports success", said the main organizer Péter Takács at the press conference.

Regarding the purchase of tickets, he explained that almost all tickets for the Saturday and Sunday evening program have already been sold, and the full house will mean more than four thousand fans at the Papp László Sportarena. You can exchange tickets for the event on the dartsevent.com website, and you will need a security card to enter.

"The seeded 16 will only start on Saturday, and among them are world stars such as world champion Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price.

The program starts at 1 pm and 7 pm on all three days. In the first round on Friday, the players will take the stage to reach the 32, excluding the top 16. The fight will continue from there on Saturday, with the final game taking place on Sunday.
