A tableau exhibition titled Eucharistia can be seen on the Andrássy út side of the office building of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. The outdoor exhibition is connected to the upcoming Eucharistic Congress.

The eleven tableaus evoke the centuries of Hungarian history and present each art object and artistic creation in a photo. Each tableau hides one letter, which, when read together, reveals the Latin inscription Eucharistia, MMA told MTI.

As it was written, the works in the tableau exhibition placed in a historical context span seven hundred years, ranging in chronological order from the 13th-century red copper wafer holder pyxis made in Limoges preserved in the Esztergom Christian Museum to Ritta Hager's tapestry entitled Remény (2000). But those who are interested can also meet one of the works of Pál C. Molnár, Ferenc Olasz, and Imre Schrammel, as well as hundreds of years of valuable treasures from important church collections, pieces of goldsmith's and textile art, and paintings. The accompanying texts briefly summarize the historical period in which the works were born, highlighting the cultural and ecclesiastical aspects.

It was highlighted in the announcement that

with this exhibition, the MMA also wishes to pay tribute to those artists who have served the glory of God, the appreciation of their country and the joy of their contemporaries with their talent throughout their lives.

At the request of the cultural diplomats of the Hungarian institutes, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the exhibition will be presented in Rome, Stuttgart, Torockó, Déva and Cluj in Transylvania, as well as in Czestochowa, Stary Sacz and Warsaw in Poland.

Also in connection with the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress, a contemporary art exhibition titled Encounter will open in the Vigadó Gallery on September 1. In the MMA headquarters, in Pesti Vigado, programs and exhibitions with a similar theme can be seen and heard in honor of the Eucharist almost continuously until September 20.

In honor of the congress, an exhibition of works by MMA industrial and visual artist members was opened in May at the Hungarian Academy in Rome under the title Don't Be Afraid; The public can see the outdoor exhibition of the Department of Fine Arts in Székesfehérvár, but now in Esztergom.
