Nowadays, everything is liquid, everything is uncertain, this creates fear, gives rise to uncertainty, brings moral deterioration, which results in the deterioration of the quality of the human personality - said Zoltán Osztie, parish priest of the Main Parish of Our Lady in downtown Budapest, in a major interview with Magyar Hírlap. We look at it.

He highlighted: in this environment, the two thousand-year-old Christian churches with supernatural revelation and irrefutably representing the truth can be considered the only solid points of alignment.

The decadence of welfare and liberal societies is tangible, says Zoltán Osztie, we see and witness its "results". This is why the demand for solid alignment points appears parallel to this, obviously and more and more decisively. And where is such a solid point of alignment? In the two-thousand-year-old Christian churches with supernatural revelation and irrefutably representing the truth. At a time when we are witnessing the striving for power and various attacks of a misanthropic, anti-human ideology, the Christian community still protects man, because he represents the absolute starting point, the intention and love of the creator God.

That people and different communities of society are used as tools today by representatives of a totalitarian power aspiration or ideology. Just think about how refugees became migrants! Don't get me wrong: refugees must be helped, it's mandatory, and it obviously comes directly from our Christianity, but don't confuse it with the migrants who were unleashed on us. The poor are used as tools, as are Gypsies and the homeless. And then I haven't mentioned how the children are being used.

They are already corrupted by gender ideology in kindergarten. We can no longer nip it in the bud, unfortunately it took root and blossomed. This is also an example of the extent to which a harmful ideology with a misanthropic approach can use people as a tool. Let's look at ourselves: we are men and women. Those who deny this, manipulate, do not accept people for what they are, hate and use them instead.

Liberalism is totalitarian and destroys everything.

By the way, totalitarian systems have the same root, method and result, this is true for national socialism, the Muscovite Bolshevik communist dictatorship and liberal totalitarian aspirations. Its root is ungodliness, its tool is hatred of people, the exercise of power to liquidate the person, and its ultimate goal is the acquisition of total power.

Here, three pillars must be taken seriously: God, country, and family, which are also the cornerstones of our identity and thus our happiness. This was obviously taken more seriously even between the two world wars during the time of the much reviled Christian course. Today, this is becoming more and more distant. I see that the polarization of society is becoming more pronounced, the gap between the two poles is growing, the two types of values and ideologies are becoming more and more irreconcilable. Belief in God and the image of man arising from it, as well as the denial of both, are mutually exclusive. What we Christians undertake requires more and more heroism; today, conservatism is becoming progressive and the so-called progressive liberal ideology is becoming decadent.

It is a great opportunity for society that the number of educational institutions of the historic Christian churches has increased from three to roughly sixteen percent. They represent value, however stumbling they may be. After all, it is very difficult for the historical Christian churches to operate irreproachable Catholic, Reformed, and Lutheran schools in such a social environment, yet I must say that a generation of Christian intellectuals is growing up that can represent excess, sophistication, and humanity. He dares to provide divine protection for the betterment of society. In other words, these educational institutions have a great chance, but also a responsibility, so that we can develop a positive vision of the future.

The church's mission from above is to represent the supernatural. There is God, life has meaning, we encourage people to take care of their souls. We support them in this, because the task of the church is to protect important pillars, values and conditions for the dignity of human existence.

To the suggestion that, according to the left, they are losing their independence and the Orbán government is keeping them on a ventilator, Osztie replied:

During the time of Ferenc Gyurcsány, we served in the same way, the KÉSZ or I worked as an inner-city parish priest in exactly the same way as during the Orbán governments. In fact, we have more opportunities in cooperation with the latter, and we have to take advantage of this, because there were no similar subsidies in Gyurcsány's time. Obviously, a Christian-democratic government maintains a partnership relationship with the Christian churches. The communists and liberals, on the other hand, see it as an enemy, since the church criticizes them by its very existence.
