The M5 channel is airing a six-part documentary series about Pope John Paul II in the spirit of tuning in to the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress in Budapest in September. The II. The episodes of the Italian series Pope John Paul II - The Man Who Changed the World can be seen on six consecutive Monday evenings starting June 7.

In connection with the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress, the public media is preparing a number of programs with religious themes, one of which is II. A six-part series about Pope John Paul II.

The Archbishop of Krakow was elected Pope on October 16, 1978, and his ecclesiastical activities are exemplary to this day. The duration of his papacy of more than 26 years was outstanding in the doctrinal, pastoral and political fields.

For two years, the creators of the series researched thousands of recordings, texts, and notes, until finally the picture presented in the documentary about a man from Poland, Karol Wojtyla, who has already been canonized by II. The whole world knows him as Pope John Paul.
