The Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister's Office came to the citizens' picnic in Kötcs with Viktor Orbán. Balázs Orbán summarized the Hungarian political situation, on the basis of which he expects a long and meaningful meeting today. According to him, the European Union must be preserved because Brussels bureaucrats and left-wing politicians do not want to fix the problems. The stake of next year's elections is whether the world before 2010 will return to Hungary.

"Today is the 20th time we are holding the traditional Kotcs picnic, which is always an important meeting point for the right-wing civil society"

- wrote Balázs Orbán, Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister's Office, on his social media page, who is speaking at the place of the citizens' picnic in the picture attached to the post. He added: Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, they were unable to meet in this circle last year, so the occasions when they used to talk not only about daily politics, but also about a broader outlook, were missed.

"Now we want to make up for this, which is why we expect a long and meaningful meeting today"

he highlighted.

Balázs Orbán recorded in relation to the event: "we can meet today because we assess that the vaccination is working, Hungary is working. We have arrived in a world full of uncertainties, some say that a world without a world order is emerging. The Prime Minister used to formulate this as

"we are in the age of migrations and epidemics".

"We are working to make Hungary a successful country that can handle these challenges well," said the politician, who was recently appointed political director by Viktor Orbán. He emphasized: For Hungary, the European Union is the most livable framework available to us in the last hundred years. We are interested in the European Union remaining and remaining united, but the community faces many challenges and difficulties.

- We have competitiveness problems, a mountain of debt can fall on us, we cannot assert our will in the world and we increasingly show the image of a weak community - listed the deputy minister. According to him, we must fight for the future of Europe and we must fight for the European Union to remain united.

- However, not everyone thinks so: there are bureaucrats in Brussels, as well as left-wing, liberal political groups, who, even in this difficult situation, are not working to remedy the problems, but rather to push their progressive, liberal ideological program to the fore

Balázs Orbán pointed out, according to whom all this is manifested in many areas.

– One such case is migration, where the issue of quotas and mass admissions came up again in connection with Afghanistan. The other is gender ideology. In Brussels, it seems, the gender lobby is more important than the protection of our children

- remarked the politician, who says that the third problem is climate change, for which Brussels wants to make ordinary European citizens and therefore Hungarian citizens pay the price instead of those responsible for the pollution.

– We see Hungary as a secure point in this uncertain world

- emphasized the deputy minister.

– We want to be able to keep this secure point and be able to get stronger. Both our family support policy, our debt reduction policy, the principle of work instead of aid, the protection of national identity and the policy of standing up for national interests have strengthened Hungary's position in the past decade, concluded Balázs Orbán.

"It will be an election year next year. We will decide whether to continue this policy or to go back to where we were before 2010"

- reminded the political director, emphasizing: the leader of the left is former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány, and what we know for sure so far is that this is their offer to him and his allies.

- concluded the deputy minister.

The citizens' picnic in Kötcs is traditionally one of the most important political meetings of the Hungarian right wing. Viktor Orbán usually also speaks at the private event, who, in addition to domestic political issues, also discusses world processes with the invited guests. The event is organized by the Foundation for Civil Hungary.
