It is no coincidence that nowhere else in Europe is there as much support for the rural development program as in Hungary - the Minister of Agriculture stated on Saturday in Csenger, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county.

István Nagy said at the opening of the 19th Csengeri Almanapok that the government raised the national co-financing rate for agricultural policy resources to eighty percent , which is three times higher than in previous years.

Minister Zsolt Forján (Fidesz-KDNP), reacting to the proposal of the mayor of the small town near the Hungarian-Romanian border to establish a local apple processor, explained that there is still an open tender for the construction of such a food industry. The government can provide up to five billion forints in support so that such a serious plant can be realized in Csenger, added István Nagy.

According to the minister, the world is suffering from a crisis of values, it is looking for points of identity to which it can relate. However, the Hungarians have these important points, faith, tradition and culture. "This is where the help comes from," said István Nagy.
