Europe has entered an era of decline, and if we do not protect the integrity of our families, there will be nothing left to prevent the fall of the state - said the IV. in the Thursday afternoon section of the Budapest Demographic Summit. We are quoting from Mandiner's article, which was published under the above title.

Marion Maréchal (pictured) on the afternoon of the first day of the Budapest Demographic Summit. In his presentation, the Director General of the French Institute of Social, Economic and Political Sciences pointed out; politics in the West does not deal with the family because it banishes it to the private sphere with all its might.

In contrast to this approach, in Hungary, the family is considered the most important basic unit, and thus the family becomes a collective political subject in society and comes to the forefront of political thinking - he assessed the situation typical of our region in a broader sense.

who also delves into French public life, also brought economic considerations to the attention of his audience. In this context, he analyzed the family as a service provider, and pointed out that marriage is a factor of stability, which creates the possibility of this function. In addition, the family transforms the person from a simple consumer to a producer and real doer. As he said, the state alone is not able to take care of the educational side of this process. "It is in your family that we can best learn coexistence, intergenerational relationships and assistance, and solidarity.

It is utopian to think that the state can provide psychological and emotional support during crisis situations: the maximum amount of support is provided by the family. That is why supporting families is a fully profitable investment for society," Marion Maréchal pointed out. He warned: however, a paradigm shift is needed to implement this essential investment.

In his presentation in Budapest, the French thinker put it like this; Europe is currently in the stage of decline, the speed of population decline is unique. Although he added that the situation in his country, France, is not catastrophic, he later clarified this picture. The relatively stable demographic situation of the country was achieved due to the simultaneous effect of several factors. On the one hand, until recently, it operated a particularly generous family support system, and on the other hand, it took seriously the recommendation of the UN, which suggested that the member states reach the replacement birth number.

Thirdly, the partly illegal and partly legalized migration processes also helped French society in terms of the number of births. However, the latter phenomenon carries serious dangers.

Marion Maréchal warned that, based on current trends, in 2060 the French will already be a numerical minority in France, and if this continues, the country will become an Islamic republic within 50-60 years.
