The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announces free training, which is available to all interested parties on the Gazdijogs website. The aim of the program is to equip pet owners who want to take care of their dogs with the care of a good owner with practical knowledge and sufficient theoretical knowledge.
The material of the e-learning course, after the summer social opinion, is now available in a finalized form without registration on the gazdijogsi.hu site. It is recommended to learn the training, which consists of a total of eight chapters, in the order of the chapters, although the individual parts of the curriculum can also be viewed independently in any order. You can return to previously viewed course material at any time, there is no time limit for accessing the course, so everyone can learn at their own pace and schedule.
In terms of its content, Gazdijogsi covers the topics of responsible dog ownership, such as dog selection, feeding, anatomical and health issues, training advice, behavioral problems and legal aspects. The program tries to provide useful advice and important information that is a prerequisite for responsible dog ownership.
Those who have completed the curriculum can also check their knowledge. , the animal lover completing the test must answer a total of 30 questions after registration in the Knowledge Test menu item on the gazdijogsi.hu website Half an hour is available to answer the questions and at least 65% must be achieved, for which the system issues a certificate. Those who reach 100% receive a special reward.
With the opening of the online training option, the two-day on-site Business Law training organized by the Animal Protection Center of the University of Veterinary Medicine will begin. A total of five training sessions are held at the Animal Protection Center this year. The importance of the topic and the need for knowledge related to responsible animal husbandry is shown by the fact that the places for the attendance training were sold out in a matter of days.
The program is still new in our country, and I would like to further improve the program based on the experiences and feedback received in connection with the autumn e-learning and attendance trainings. As a long-term goal, they want to supplement the current curriculum with a practical dog-owner training.
