Abolishing the Child Protection Act, letting in asylum seekers and ignoring the past. Just a few statements that were made on Friday in the televised debate between the left-wing prime ministerial candidate. For example, András Fekete-Győr said: Hungary must act on the issue of migration as the European Council decides. According to Ferenc Gyurcsány's wife, no one is interested in the Ószöd speech anymore, as it is already in the past, M1 Híradó reported.

15 years ago, the Ószöd speech was delivered, in which Ferenc Gyurcsány admitted that the left-wing government he led had lied to the people. spontaneous demonstrations were organized that evening . And on October 23, police officers not wearing identification marks used tear gas grenades, water cannons, and rubber bullets against the peaceful crowd. In connection with this year's anniversary, many people were still talking about how the terror in Gyurcsány ruined their lives.

Despite the unquestionable seriousness of what happened, Ferenc Gyucsány's wife, Klára Dobrev, succinctly stated in the televised debate featuring the left-wing prime ministerial candidates on Friday:

"No one cares about autumn anymore."

Then, after Momentumos' András Fekete-Győr drew attention to the fact that in light of the events, the DK candidate cannot win the primary election, Klára Dobrev only said: they have already told everything about the past and, according to her, people are not interested in what happened.

The child protection law was also discussed in the debate, which, according to the president of Momentum, should be abolished, and same-sex couples should be given more rights, and they should be allowed to marry and adopt. Ferenc Gyurcsány's wife is also fighting for the rights of LGBTQ people in the European Parliament.

The participants in the debate also talked about pensions. The candidate of the MSZP-Párbeszéd-LMP, Gergely Karácsony, called the government's return of the 13th monthly pension , which was taken away by the Gyurcsány-Bajna governments, a campaign and an embarrassment.

The issue of immigration was also discussed. Gergely Karácsony said about this:

you have to be humane towards asylum seekers.

According to András Fekete-Győr, our country must do what they say in Brussels. In other words, if that is what they want there, then Hungary must let the asylum seekers in.

Although the participants now talked about keeping the fence, there was no mention of the fact that in recent years, several people on the left have said that there is no longer an immigration crisis, so the fence is not needed. Ferenc Gyurcsány's wife said in ATV two years ago: she does not support Hungary receiving money from the Union for border protection.
