The question is how much this year's growth will exceed 5.5 percent, which could be as much as seven percent - Gergely Gulyás Gulyás, today's Government Information Officer, spoke about this.

The minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office also mentioned that the new Russian gas contract will help to guarantee the results of the overhead reduction. He said about the primary election that it is not a competition, but rather a pre-recorded show, at the end of which Gergely Karácsony will be the left-wing candidate for prime minister. It also turned out that there is no legal obstacle to holding the child protection referendum and the parliamentary elections on the same day next spring.

A scenario in which this year's growth does not reach 5.5 percent is not possible in the Hungarian economy.

Based on yesterday's reports from the Ministry of Finance, it can be stated that economic growth will certainly exceed 5.5 percent, but it may even reach 7.5 percent, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office emphasized on Wednesday's Government Information.

According to Gergely Gulyás, this means that both parents of families raising children under the age of 18 and school-going children - up to the average income level - will receive their personal income tax paid in 2021 back at the beginning of next year. He added that parents raising children who were entitled to child benefit (typically family allowance) on any day of 2021 are entitled to a refund.

Regarding the Russian gas agreement, the minister said that our country has concluded a ten-plus-five-year contract with the Russian state gas supplier Gazprom, which ensures the preservation of the achievements of utility reduction in the long term, and also means that Hungarians will pay the lowest gas prices in all of Europe. He said that the contract is significantly more favorable than the agreement that is expiring now, it concerns the purchase of 4.5 billion gas per year, which Gazprom supplies to Hungary via two routes.

If the opposition's desire for Hungarian households to pay energy costs according to market prices came true, they would raise the prices to one hundred percent instead of the current forty percent, but the Russian gas agreement ensures the country's gas supply and our country's competitiveness in the long term.

Regarding the virus situation, Gergely Gulyás presented the latest data, adding: the only effective weapon against the virus is vaccination, the capacities are unlimited, they can vaccinate everyone who wants to, and they continue to encourage everyone to vaccinate on the threshold of the fourth wave in himself.

Regarding the visit of the LIBE committee, the minister said that according to the Schengen rules, anyone can come to Hungary freely, but we have no illusions that the people are coming to insult Hungary and want to provide some kind of comradely help to the Hungarian opposition, said Gergely Gulyás. LIBE is coming here to support the candidates of the Hungarian Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the minister concluded.

There is a race of hatred going on on the left, this is called a primary election, he pointed out. At the same time, he underlined, the government will not be a partner in this, as this behavior is far from what the government considers correct and expected in Hungarian public life. The end of the entire show program takes place according to a choreographed scenario, and Karácsony will indeed be the joint prime ministerial candidate of the left.

When asked about the German election, Gergely Gulyás said that Gergely Karácsony is unlikely to be dealt with by the new German government, and regarding the Hungarian recovery plan, he said that it is not possible to know whether there will be an agreement, the negotiations between the parties are ongoing. As he said, there is some progress, and there are also differences of opinion, for example, regarding the Child Protection Act. - If the European Commission does not want to deceive the European member states, then it must also agree with the remaining countries, since this was promised, the agreement is mandatory - the minister explained, adding that the member states with which the commission has already agreed already have a competitive advantage.

Hungarian businesses will not suffer any damage if the agreement is concluded later, he noted.

Regarding the re-introduction of mandatory mask use and the adoption of additional measures, Gergely Gulyás explained that the number of diseases is eight to ten times higher among the unvaccinated than among the vaccinated, this fact is clear everywhere in the world. Vaccination means effective protection, but the Budapest municipality decides on the use of masks on public transport, otherwise it is up to everyone to decide whether to wear a mask. Gergely Gulyás also said that if someone is not vaccinated, the mask will not protect them from the virus.

Regarding Viktor Orbán's visit to the Czech Republic, Gergely Gulyás said that the acquisition of property in the military industry company, which is in the news, will be welcomed by the government if it happens.

When asked what he thinks about the fact that, according to press reports, Péter Jakab's bodyguard received HUF 42 million , Gergely Gulyás pointed out: this is an unreasonably large amount, as is the bodyguard, although he does not dispute it, some of Jakab's statements are sufficiently offensive to be afraid on the street. At the same time, neither the opposition nor the government faction leaders have been exposed to great danger so far, so this is a novel practice in Hungarian public life.

Gergely Gulyás said that the pension system would be an obstacle to demographic change, that the current system can be maintained for a good ten to fifteen years, but in the long term, the question of whether the demographic principle should be enforced may arise, but for now there is no such thing on the agenda.

The minister was also asked about the impact of the decisions of the weekend's demographic conference, and in his answer he said that the most important result of the conference was that an opinion was definitely expressed at the highest levels of international life that family policy is an alternative to migration - this is the most important message.

More than 90 percent of those treated at the hospital are over 60 years of age, and among them there are significantly more unvaccinated than vaccinated. Alexandra Szentkirályi said that the proportion of school-going students who are vaccinated is already over fifty percent, with such a proportion there is no need to return to digital education and to close schools. Regarding the vaccination of children under the age of 12, the minister said that we have indicated our intention to participate in EU procurement, but there is no approved vaccine yet. The government will not differentiate between vaccinated and unvaccinated students.

Regarding the teachers' lawsuits, Gergely Gulyás talked about the fact that there should be wage increases from the first of January, this also applies to teachers. Teachers' wages need to be adjusted, but the government has done a lot to catch up with teachers' wages. - We will see how far we can go on the first of January - noted the minister, adding that the regular teacher salary arrangement is also necessary due to the competitiveness of Hungarian education.

According to Gábor Kálomista, many cinemas do not want to show the film Elk*rtuk for political reasons, he explained: even in a country led by a Christian-democratic government, what we have in Hungary is liberal censorship. It is unfortunate that whoever makes a film that does not suit the taste of certain liberal circles will not be screened.

If a film can be censored in Hungary, it shows that problems related to freedom should be sought in the representatives of the self-proclaimed liberal but extremely exclusionary zeitgeist.

Regarding the parliamentary election, Gergely Gulyás said that it is not conceivable that it should be postponed due to the virus or other reasons, this election is unavoidable and important, it will take place.

The Minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office indicated in connection with the Ukrainian reaction following the Hungarian-Russian gas agreement: the Ukrainian revenge took place long before the gas agreement with the Russians, since Ukraine severely limited the use of the native language of Transcarpathian Hungarians by amending the Education Act, and did not allow any international opinion regarding this amendment , that is why Hungary will continue to block the accession negotiations with NATO

he underlined. In his opinion, it is otherwise incomprehensible that another country wants to intervene in the energy policy of a sovereign country. Ukraine has nothing to do with this, he stated. He added that it is extremely regrettable that the neighboring state is ultimately unable to appreciate the series of gestures that Hungary has made despite the current serious disputes.

When asked what percentage of people in the hospital are unvaccinated, he said: according to his memory, the vast majority of people in the hospital are elderly people suffering from underlying diseases, and about 55 percent of them are not vaccinated. He added that the vast majority of all elderly people have already been vaccinated, slightly more than ten percent are unvaccinated, and most of them end up in hospitals.

The minister also addressed other issues, which can be found in the entire article.
