After Vojvodina and Transylvania, the mentoring program will also be launched in Croatia, and the Highlands and Subcarpathians will soon join, so this year it will be available in five countries - stated János Árpád Potápi, State Secretary for National Policy at the Prime Minister's Office, on Thursday at Kopács in Drávazög, at the opening of the entrepreneurial mentoring program funded by the Hungarian government at his event.
Speaking to MTI, the Secretary of State for National Policy said: this practically means that already successful large entrepreneurs are connected with start-up businesses, so that they contribute to the tightest weaving of the economic network, and the Carpathian basin can be managed as a unified economic space.
He reminded that the radical change in national politics took place from 2010.
It also had symbolic decisions, he emphasized, and mentioned the law on dual citizenship, the basic law and the day of national unity. The voting right of Hungarians across the border also belongs to this line, he added.
He indicated: from 2014-2016, more and more emphasis was placed on supporting prosperity in the homeland, and large economic programs were launched in all regions inhabited by Hungarians, including Baranya in Croatia and Eastern Slavonia.
"We can safely say that the Hungarian entrepreneurs here have access to Hungarian development funds in order to strengthen their economy," he said.
He believed: Unfortunately, within Croatia, this region is not one of the most developed, and therefore any development money multiplies the businesses here.
As he said, one of the most important tasks of the State Secretariat for National Policy of the Prime Minister's Office in the field of economy is to connect entrepreneurs and create a network of relationships between them, not only within a country, but also between regions.
There are currently ten mentees and six mentors in Croatia, but new entrepreneurs can also join the program at any time, he underlined.
According to János Árpád Potápi, there are several programs a year that enable entrepreneurs to meet at the level of the Carpathian Basin, and the mentoring program further increases the range of these.
In 2019, the State Secretariat for National Policy of the Prime Minister's Office started mentor training for large entrepreneurs in Vojvodina and then in Transylvania. The aim of the program is to train experienced local entrepreneurs to become mentors in Hungarian regions abroad, thereby creating a professional environment that helps entrepreneurs.
During the program, large entrepreneurs mentor small and medium-sized enterprises with the coordination of experienced Hungarian mentors. Design Terminal is a professional partner in the implementation of the program in all regions.
The plan is to extend the mentoring program to the entire Carpathian Basin.
