On October 16th and 17th, István Jelenczki's four-part documentary "No, no, never - God does not abandon the true cause" will be shown again at the Uránia movie theater. The film, made for the 100th anniversary of the Trianon Peace Edict, is about the antecedents and consequences of the decision that divided historical Hungary, as well as the possible way of processing the national trauma.

Last December's presentation could not be held in the cinema due to the coronavirus epidemic, so it was only shown in the form of an online screening, but this year the auditorium can already be full.

The film, completed after several years of work, features, among others, historian Ernő Raffay psychologist Emőke Bagdy military Zoltán Babucs , lawyer Péter Csere writer and journalist László Domonkos , Hungarian historian and academic Gyula Popély , historian and sociologist Archimédesz Szidiropulosz, Gábor Vincze, Bogár Economist László Frigyes Kahler , legal historian, József Zoltán Tóth and Tibor Zinner .

"The refutation of the previous argument of the trauma - the conscious dismemberment of historical Hungary - and the presentation of the actual historical connections could contribute to the process in which the nation finds its identity again. The path to the healing of the national soul is through factually revealing and confronting processes. This is the purpose of my four-part film , which is the result of nearly five years of work," says István Jelenczki about the documentary.

On the first screening day, on Saturday, October 16, from 10 a.m., the Hungarian Archiregnum (91 minutes) will be shown first, followed by a short break called The Genocide Practice (87 minutes). The Sunday screening also starts at 10 am, the title of the 3rd part is Continuous Trianon (98 minutes). There will also be a short break, and then the final, 4th part will be shown: Hungarian Resurrection (133 minutes).

Ticket exchange is required for both days, advance purchase is possible at the movie theater's box office and on the Internet news page .
