The Rural Women for Hungary Award is awarded annually exclusively to rural women, in recognition of outstanding work carried out in order to preserve the values ​​and traditions of the countryside or for outstanding work carried out in order to protect the natural environment, for outstanding work in domestic agricultural management, or in the production of food that ensures healthy nutrition , for outstanding work in its production.

This recognition award is given to a rural woman every year, this year two received it because the pandemic also swept away the 2020 award ceremony, so the presidency decided that in 2021, not only the 2021 award, but also the 2020 award. also presents an annual award.

In 2019, the Women's Association created the award, at the suggestion of the rural women's section, which is considered one of the main pillars of the organization. With the award, the Association of Hungarian Women's Interests, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its foundation in 2020, not only wants to recognize the women living and working in the countryside, but also wanted to honor the jubilee anniversary of great importance in the life of the organization with the award.

The Association of Hungarian Women's Interests has been present in public life in Hungary and beyond for 21 years. For several years, their free legal aid service has been of great help to those in difficult situations who turn to them for advice.
