János Árpád Potápi evaluated the results of the national policy in terms of adapting to the epidemic situation and starting over together at the specialist committee meeting of the Hungarian Standing Conference (Maért). He reported on this year's tenders - related to the year of the national restart, the support of institutions of national importance, the construction of medical apartments in Transylvania, the support of Hungarian-language education, the "systemic" construction and renovation of kindergartens and nurseries across the border, as well as the support of Hungarian-language higher education, which among them, he singled out János Selye University in Komárom.

The State Secretary spoke about the support of church and civil organizations, the expansion of the Hungarian in the Motherland program and the provision of baby packages, as well as the results of the cross-border economic development programs, whose goal was networking.

Speaking about the growing importance of sports in national politics, János Árpád Potápi indicated: the development of quite a few sports is supported in the areas beyond the border and the results of this are visible. As an example, he mentioned that one of the most successful football teams in Slovakia is DAC Dunaszerdahely, a Hungarian team; The champion team of Romania is the women's basketball team of György Sepsiszent from Székely.

"For the Hungarians living there, this is a brand that strengthens national pride and identity," he said.

The government politician mentioned as a goal to introduce daily physical education in all Hungarian schools in the Carpathian Basin, following the example of the mother country, which is justified by children's obesity, physical inactivity or diabetes. He added: 1,450 schools in the Carpathian Basin will be delivered sports equipment packages worth about HUF 100,000.
