Most of the 37 who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 30,729.
The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 797,910 people, and the number of actively infected people has risen to 34,780 people. 2,130 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 230 of them are on ventilators.
In order to curb the fourth wave of the epidemic and increase vaccination coverage, the government decided on new protective measures. From the first of November, it is again mandatory to wear a mask on public transport, in order to increase vaccination coverage, employers can require their employees to be vaccinated.
