On November 9, the political thriller ElkXrtuk, based on real events, will be presented in Brussels, organized by the Brussels Representation of the Foundation for Civil Hungary and the Hungarian Wave Public and Cultural Society.
In 2006, at the behest of Ferenc Gyurcsány, police boots trampled the rule of law in Hungary, which was already an EU member state at the time. However, the gentlemen of Brussels, the Brussels vanguards of the rule of law and the activists of the European left did not move their ears.
If they are at all interested in the real protection of the rule of law, then they should come and watch the film showing Gyurcsány's mass police terror brutally attacking the rule of law, emphasized Tamás Deutsch, head of the Fidesz European Parliament group.
On the 50th anniversary of the 1956 commemoration, the then left-wing government led by Ferenc Gyurcsány abused its power and turned against its citizens with harsh and illegal police violence, shaking the rule of law to its foundations.
The film screening will be followed by a round table discussion with the filmmakers.
