On November 11 (Thursday), St. Martin's Day, starting at 5:00 p.m., a non-political, interdenominational Christian lantern procession will be organized in the city center.

The goal of the organizers is to draw attention to the fact that St. Martin's Day is not equal to goose steak. The basis of this centuries-old tradition is St. Martin of Pannonia, whose legendary figure can serve as an example for all of us: let's help the needy!

At the event, "Saint Márton" will lead the lantern procession of children and adults following him on horseback, accompanied by a brass band.

If you agree with the initiative and you have time and desire, then take part in the St. Martin procession, which starts at 17:00 on Deák tér, in front of the church. You don't need to do anything special, dress up of course, but definitely bring a lantern with you!
