The number of vaccinated people is 5,986,727, of which 5,764,573 have already received their second vaccination, and 1 million 475 thousand have already received their third vaccination. 8,394 new infected people were confirmed, bringing the number of identified infected people to 931,414 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 132 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 31,751. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 815,845 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 83,818 people. 4,990 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 488 of them are on ventilators. We are in the rising phase of the fourth wave of the epidemic, and the unvaccinated are at greatest risk, so we ask them to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Less than 1% of those vaccinated become ill, and the course of the disease is usually much milder in those vaccinated.
The immunity that develops after vaccination - in the case of all vaccines - weakens after a few months, so for stronger protection against the virus, everyone over 18 years of age who has been vaccinated more than 4 months ago is recommended to receive the third vaccination.
