A priest's serious advice for Catholic fathers

If you want strong, loyal and selfless men to become priests later, raise your sons according to the following.

If you want them to be strong, faithful, and selfless husbands and fathers, you should still raise your sons as follows.

You can only achieve all this if you make virtue the center of your life.

You can only achieve all this if you formulate clear expectations and priorities and carefully follow your time schedule.

You can only achieve all this if faith always comes first in your life before worldly goals.

These above admonitions are primarily addressed to you, dear Fathers!

It is not your wives' job to teach your sons how to become serious, strong Catholic men.

It is not their job to teach them to love God first, to have clear, true goals, to be self-restrained, virtuous and disciplined. All of these are your tasks!

It is not their job to exemplify faith, prayer, standing, and leadership. All of your tasks!

If they still do this, it's time for you to finally be men!

All the problems and scandals we face in our families, churches, parishes and society can be solved by the grace of God. But for this, we also need to stand on our heels, make the necessary changes, and be ready to stand out from the rest by setting a good example and thereby positively change our society.

Dear men! It's high time to stand on our heels, pull ourselves together and really be what God called and created us to be!
