I cite the example of my mother-in-law, who never had a high pension, and during the reign of your party leader, you delighted her with Swiss indexation to such an extent that she became addicted. Then you elegantly took the 13th monthly pension from him, which was a small relief, and thanks to your dilettante governance, you even flayed him with the ever-increasing utility costs. Sure, he would have starved if his family didn't support him, even though he can save like no one except him.
Under the reign of Gergőke, the Orbán government, which "wretched pensioners", his pension increased, if not with rocket speed, but with dignity, he no longer needs support, on the other hand, he could afford to travel abroad on vacation once a year. And he is not afraid of January 1- from when, in your time, you always gave us a little belt-tightening by exclaiming "new year-new prices" .
They must have turned a deaf ear to me about "hundreds of thousands of pensioners struggling with livelihood problems", when I see that even during the day there is a lot of traffic in shopping centers, in stores selling food, and obviously retired people come out of the stores with shopping carts packed to the brim.
I don't claim, because I don't want to lie like you, that I am here in Canaan, flowing with milk and honey. Not even that pensions are suitable for everyone and in all cases. They're just much better than they were in the Ballibs days.
Don't forget, old man, that today's pensions were established by your predecessors and comrades, at a very low level. Many decades of backlog have to be brought in, which your 8-year rule has put a lot of additional burdens on. You are preparing for this now, not even secretly. And the smallest tragedy in this game is the Swiss indexation that you chanted as a magic spell (because being Swiss sounds so good, but it would not bring a pension increase, but a decrease). The much bigger disaster would be if you managed to win and free Hungary from free market energy prices. Well, we could drown in that, from pensioners, from everything!
You promise, you promise, that you will guarantee the value stability of the pensions. Thanks, we don't want it, it's already guaranteed today. It follows inflation, and even exceeds it, if the performance of the economy makes this possible in the given year. And this has been possible for years, and what's more, despite the pandemic, the economy is now performing exceptionally well, which is why it is possible to pay an unprecedented amount of pension premiums.
Of course, this is not good for you, I came with the weak argument that the government wants to "buy" pensioners with this. Do you know, Gergécske, even if it were so, what does it prove? The Orbán government is performing well .
We already know the expected performance from you, with great effort and expertise you managed to bankrupt this country by a hair's breadth.
Because that's all you can guarantee.
