The foreign ministers of the Visegrad countries agreed that if Poland needs any help due to migration pressure, the three other countries are ready to help immediately, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said on his Facebook page on Monday.

Péter Szijjártó wrote that the foreign ministers of the V4 countries - the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia - held an extraordinary meeting in Brussels during the session of the Foreign Affairs Council.

"The topic was, of course, the migration pressure on our Polish friends. First of all, we expressed our thanks and appreciation to the Poles for heroically protecting the external border of the EU and thus also us," highlighted the head of the ministry.

He added that in 2015, Hungary was also under similar pressure, then we could count on the help of the V4s, it is natural that this is also the case with the Poles.
