After Anonymus published a photo of Gordon Bajnai and Gyula Gansperger yesterday morning in connection with the City Hall gate, the former left-wing prime minister started a feverish explanation on Facebook.

, Gordon Bajnai tried to trivialize Gansperger's relationship with Gyula, which he claimed had only been sporadic since 2005. (Until then, they jointly managed Wallis Rt.) However, he admitted that in the summer of this year, at the invitation of Gansperger, he participated in a meeting in which they discussed with a group of wealthy investors in connection with the development ideas of the City Hall property. In Hungarian, the ex-prime minister became involved in the negotiations concerning the planned sale of the City Hall worth tens of billions of forints.

According to Bajnai's memory, he stated in this conversation that an investment involving a building of such symbolic importance would definitely come under fire from political attacks in the current irrational political environment. He also allegedly emphasized that he had no influence on the role of intermediary... at the same time, the fact is that a lot of information regarding the planned sale of the City Hall has come to light in the recent period, after which the capital's leadership constantly contradicted its own previous statements in the midst of heated debates.

Recently, an audio recording was made public in which Gyula Gansperger spoke about how valuable real estate sales in the capital take place within the framework of a commission-based, i.e. corruption, system. The left-wing businessman also reported that Gordon Bajnai previously recommended two people to the attention of Gergely Karácsony. One of them, Ambrus Kiss, became deputy mayor, while the other, Csaba Tordai, became chief legal adviser. Gansperger also stated that Tordai "does not make money", while Kiss Ambrus benefits from corruption funds.

After the recording became public, Mayor Gergely Karácsony and his deputies refuted Gansperger's words at a press conference and threatened the press with a lawsuit...

...Evidence can play an important role, as the National Bureau of Investigation has ordered an investigation in connection with City Hall transactions.
