The speaker of the parliament gave a big interview at the start of the season, in which he talks about, among other things, that he considers Sweden's NATO accession to be a wrong step from a security policy point of view, that the fight for EU money is actually a hybrid war, which the globalists in Brussels are waging against Hungary and Poland, which defend their sovereignty, and that he considers it abnormal for the US to kick an ally through its ambassador on a daily basis.

- Both the government and President Katalin Novák have made it clear that they support Sweden's NATO accession. If this were not the case, ratification would not be on the table of the National Assembly. However, Fidesz-KDNP is a living political community, so its members may have different opinions. However, many of us in the faction think that it would be worthwhile to wait for the decision. After all, a new member would join the military alliance with which a fundamental relationship of trust would be necessary, if we were to entrust our defense to each other. In recent years, Swedish politics, especially the left, have not provided any basis for the existence of this trust. On the contrary: he was at the forefront when it came to the attack on Hungary, and since then I still do not perceive the gestures that would prove that if they were to join NATO with our approval, from then on they would really see us as an ally with equal rights, and not as a scumbag - said the Speaker of the House regarding the fact that our country has not yet approved Stockholm's NATO accession.

"We are not waiting for the Turks. The sovereign parliament of a sovereign country will decide when it sees its time," he stated.

"Of course, we are watching with interest how the Turkish partner, which has the second strongest army in NATO, fares with the Swedes in its dispute. But we did not offer to align ourselves with their position, and the Turks did not even indicate that they had any expectations from us. My personal opinion is that until the Swedes come to terms with the Turks, they will gain some time to somewhat improve their relationship with us," said László Kövér, pointing out that two traditionally neutral countries, Finland and Sweden, are giving up their positions, the latter hopeful - As a NATO member, he went directly to Russia's front line.

"This in itself is a development that deserves a more comprehensive and in-depth discussion both in Hungary and in Europe. In my opinion, the joining of these two countries to the North Atlantic military alliance actually does not strengthen, but weakens the security of Europe".

The Speaker of the House reminded: according to the signs, the partly justified panic and partly artificial hysteria that broke out in connection with the Russian-Ukrainian war now provides an opportunity for the rapid implementation of an old geostrategic plan.

"We can see from subtle signs: the remaining neutral countries, Austria and even Switzerland, are being pressured by some diplomatic pressure from overseas and from the center of the EU to reconsider their exclusion. It is therefore about something else, more than the security situation of two Nordic countries or even the whole of Europe".

László Kövér also reflected on the claims according to which the Russian-Ukrainian war presents Hungary with a decision to choose the East or the West.

"There are things in which we cannot and do not want to choose, because our predecessors have already done so. And this is that we are part of Western Christian culture, we entered Europe and its political institutions with the founding of the Christian state. Since then, it has also defined our national culture. Now those who refuse this ideological and moral basis of Europe want to force us to make an exclusive choice in the political and economic sense. In contrast to them, there is no non-Christian Europe for us", emphasized the speaker, pointing out that Hungary is not only because it has been at the crossroads of world imperial aspirations since the beginning, it can also be a kind of mediating link culturally.

"To those who want to force this senseless choice on us, we must ask the question: why should we turn away from those with whom we share historical and cultural roots, and who also confess this with good intentions? Why shouldn't there be value in this, why shouldn't Hungary be one of the bridges that connect the West in the traditional sense and the diverse East in itself? When we were forced to make such an election, we could only come out of it by suffering a tragedy, we can think either of the partition of the country into three parts following the Ottoman conquest efforts, or of the consequences of the wartime distribution of power after 1945".

László Kövér sees no difference between Katalin Novák and the government's position regarding the war.

"I don't perceive a difference between the positions, at most the wording differs. Obviously, a head of state speaks differently - and does it correctly - when he represents his country, than a member of the government, and still pursues the same foreign policy. A foreign minister must strike a different tone when engaging in specific discussions with either his Ukrainian or Western colleagues regarding the assessment of the course of the war. By the way, similar to other government statements, Katalin Novák is primarily talking about peace, which in itself distinguishes her and Hungary from politicians from all other allied European and NATO member states. Even after killing hundreds of thousands of people, the latter are fighting over how one side could win the war. But no one can win, everyone has already lost this war. More precisely, everyone - with the exception of the United States, even more so the military, energy and financial lobby that dominates it".

"We always look at Hungarian interests, and accordingly we choose with whom, about what and for what purpose we negotiate. This will continue to be the case in the future. For us, the enemy of our enemy is not necessarily our friend, the enemy of our friends is also our enemy ab ovo, and it is also important that the friends of our friends are not necessarily our friends either. The bottom line is that we ourselves determine who our enemies and who our friends are based solely on the Hungarian national interest. We don't let anyone have a say in this either!" underlined the speaker.

I am not in official contact with the alleged American ambassador, said László Kövér regarding David Pressman:

"I hear from others that he is the ambassador of the United States of America to Hungary, but based on his activities, to be honest, this has not been revealed to me until now. His behavior, to put it mildly, is completely unusual", explained the use of the adjective "alleged", according to the speaker, who said that when Donald Trump was president, American-Hungarian political relations were perhaps better than ever before. "We hope that sooner or later there will be a change in the administration in Washington and things will return to normal".

"Let's put it on record: looking back over the last several hundred years, but especially the last hundred years, the European Union is even at this moment the best enforcement framework for Hungarian national interests. I think so because, in principle, it is still a voluntary cooperation made up of equal and equal member states. As long as this alliance can survive, and Hungary receives what is due to it, while fulfilling its obligations arising specifically from the treaties, this statement is true," emphasized László Kövér in relation to the issue concerning the EU, adding: from the membership one of the most important advantages resulting from this is that we can move freely across the borders - although this advantage seems to be starting to be lost, since there is control not only on the Hungarian-Austrian border, but also on the Austrian-German border, so the Union itself counts the achievements for which many citizens find the community useful.

"Continuing the line: as long as we can communicate with our brothers from Transylvania and the Highlands without a passport, as long as we can participate in the European economic circulation without having to basically give up our economic sovereignty, membership is in our interest," added Kövér, who said that today the Member States cannot control this cancerous bureaucracy.

In my opinion, the government has done even more than it could have done without harming the honor of the Hungarian constitutional order for the arrival of EU funds - pointed out the Speaker, who believes that every compromise step to the limit of reasonableness must be taken so that the powers that be against us the abusive bureaucracy runs out of arguments to support why it wants to use financial means to reduce Hungary's room for maneuver.

Speaking from the left, László Kövér expressed it eloquently:

"If people with such "genius" skills as András Fekete-Győr, Tímea Szabó, Péter Jakab or Péter Márki-Zay make up the opposition and share common sense - I hope I didn't offend anyone among those I may have left out - then I think , Hungary's collective intellectual abilities, especially with regard to the democratic routine of the thirty-three years behind us, are still sufficient for people to be able to distinguish the running fools from those who can at least be entrusted with the preservation of a bicycle. I wouldn't even trust the opposition with my bicycle, let alone my electric scooter, just in case they take a shower."
