The number of vaccinated people is 6,043,116, of which 5,801,593 people already received the second vaccination, and 1,939,582 people already received the third vaccination.
6,518 new infections were confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infections to 1,032,215 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 171 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 33,343. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 851,314 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 147,558 people. 6,830 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, of which 663 are on ventilators, according to the government portal koronavirus.gov.hu.
