In his radio interview on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán mainly dealt with the daily happenings - the epidemic situation and migration pressure.

According to the Prime Minister, the vaccination week is a success. This is shown by the fact that, in addition to the previously unvaccinated, many people applied for the third vaccination. The Hungarian data show that, while in most European countries the proportion of those applying for the third vaccination is 6-7 percent, it reaches 20 percent in our country, as at least 130,000 people applied for the vaccination without an appointment every day. If this continues, there is no need to expect new restrictions, but the government cannot and does not try to determine this in advance, every step depends on the development of the epidemic situation. That is why the vaccination week is extended by another week.

Regarding those who refuse to be vaccinated, Viktor Orbán has stated many times that no one can be forced to protect their own life, only asking them a hundred times to get vaccinated. The administration of the third booster vaccine is also very important and life-saving.

What about vaccinations for children aged 5-12? the question was asked. The prime minister explained that irresponsible decisions should not be made, and that although the pandemic has been going on for two years, no one can decide in favor of vaccination, just because there are those who would demand it. After two years, there is now a vaccine manufacturer that dares to recommend vaccinating this age group after the tests, we responded immediately and by December 20, 2 million doses of such vaccine will arrive, and if possible, it is recommended to vaccinate young children as well.

Speaking about the burden on the health sector, the Prime Minister emphasized that the skilled workers have been doing superhuman work for two years, and it depends on their endurance.
The government provided the necessary tools and equipment and did what it could to prevent the health care system from collapsing. We have the equipment, the ventilators are available, and for now there are even enough people, said the prime minister. There is also an epidemic hospital that has not been opened, he added. Everyone is doing superhuman work, which the government has financially recognized, the wages of both doctors and nurses have increased significantly in recent years. Although this amount is not enough, it was currently running on it. What can be seen even today is that Hungarian healthcare capacities are orders of magnitude greater than in the West. These capacities must be kept alive in the future.

He called Brussels' migration policy stupid, as they insist on supporting migration, even though no one has the right to enter the territory of any country without a permit. However, the EU bureaucrats are not willing to acknowledge this, they claim that the Hungarian rules are not acceptable, that those who escape to us should not be returned outside the fence. According to them, we should let hundreds of thousands in and judge here whether they are entitled to asylum. (However, those who once entered the territory of the Union are apparently almost impossible to expel, that is, they would stay with us - ed.) The Union does not give money for defense, but it does to help migrants.

We urgently need to clear some things up with Brussels. Today, there are countries - for example Germany - that mark themselves as immigration countries, that is, they want migration. We, on the other hand, do not, that is , it is necessary to find how the countries that accept immigrants and the countries that reject them can live together.

The left-liberal side attacking the overhead reduction constantly describes the system as anti-market, but Viktor Orbán thinks about it in a way that is not "Dr. The interests of Piac" or Mr. Piac" must be served, but of the Hungarian people. Multis cannot be allowed to pocket sky-high profits. Now they want to impose an extra tax on citizens, Brussels would tax anyone who heats their apartment or owns a car. This is also supported by the domestic left, but the Hungarian government cannot allow this, it must not burden the people.
