The President of the Republic of Poland, Andzej Duda, awarded László Csizmadia the President of the Civil Solidarity Forum – Civil Solidarity Public Foundation with the Knight's Cross of the Polish Republic Medal of Merit.
Jerzy Snopek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Hungary, presented the award in a ceremonial setting at the Polish Embassy in Budapest.
The ambassador highlighted:
the recipient of the recognition achieved significant results in the development of Polish-Hungarian civil relations.
In his words of thanks, László Csizmadia emphasized the cooperation of the civilians of the two countries, and at the same time remembered the heroic work of Polish soldiers, police and border guards protecting Europe.
He hoped that
just as before, the citizens of the two peoples continue to fight together for freedom and to reform the European Union.
