In the last three days, a total of 22,699 new infected people have been confirmed, increasing the number of identified infected people to a total of 1,157,568 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 489 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of people who died rose to 35,611.
The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 932,204 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 189,753 people. 7,440 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, 586 of them are on ventilators, according to the government portal koronavirus.gov.hu
