215 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 7,310 people infected with the coronavirus were found in Hungary - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Thursday, highlighting that 6,171,489 people have been vaccinated so far, of which 5,878,951 have received the second, 2,864,506- and they have already received the third dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 1,176,038. 36,263 people died, the number of those who recovered rose to 955,248. The number of active infected people is 184,527. Hospitals treat 7,119 coronavirus patients, of whom 579 are on ventilators. There are 53,187 people under official home quarantine, the number of samples taken is 8,734,938.
In the vaccination campaign, 1,262,000 people have been vaccinated so far, 1,30,000 of them have already received the confirmatory, third, and 147,000 unvaccinated decided to take the first vaccination. In view of the success, the government extended the vaccination campaign, so until December 12 (Sunday) you can still go to the vaccination points without making an appointment, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
