As in previous years, those affected will receive the family support benefits due in January already before Christmas, Katalin Novák, Minister without portfolio responsible for families, announced on her Facebook page on Saturday.
According to Katalin Novák's post, the family allowance, child care allowance (gyes) and child-rearing allowance (gyet) arrive in the bank accounts on Wednesday, and the post office delivers them on Wednesday and Thursday.
The government provides tangible help for the end-of-year expenses of around 1.2 million families with advance family support transfers, the minister wrote.
