The left played the trust of investors once, and now it would continue the old, failed economic policy, said Fidesz spokesman László Horváth in his video statement on Saturday.
The spokesperson said: Hungary is one of the most attractive investment destinations today; this means jobs and development for the country. However, he emphasized that this was not the case before 2010.
As he said, the left has betrayed investors' trust once before, its administration brought the country into financial and economic bankruptcy, pursued a bad, misguided economic policy, and "taxed labor to death".
With all of this, he scared off investors, took away the trust and enthusiasm of investors, and completely undermined the trust in Hungary, he added.
After the change of government in 2010, it took years to restore investor confidence in Hungary. But it succeeded, and it is now so strong that even during the epidemic, job-creating investments are coming to the country one after the other, and the desire to invest by domestic companies is constantly increasing, László Horváth stated.
The left would still continue with the same old, failed economic policy, but Hungary must move forward, not backward. This is why we have to stop the Gyurcsány-Márki-Zay left! said the spokesperson.
